The Cornwall Bereavment Network enables you to find the right support for you by visiting one central resource.
“Our goal is to make support easily accessible to those experiencing bereavement, whether that is through end-of-life care, funeral planning, legal services, counselling, or support groups.
However you have been bereaved, and whatever your age or relationship to the deceased, there is assistance out there and we hope that this resource helps you to find what is right for you.”

The Good Grief Trust
“Help & hope in one place”
The Good Grief Trust is a national charity devoted to supporting those with experience of bereavement.
On their website, you will find links to local and national support in the form of helplines, groups, and information, advice and guidance. You can also hear stories from others who may have experienced a similar loss.

Walk Talk Kernow
‘Walk Talk Kernow’ is a FREE bereavement support group run by Cornwall Hospice Care. Whilst talking in nature, each group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with other who are also experiencing grief.

If you feel you need more support, you can speak to the Stennack Surgery reception team and ask to be contacted by our Social Prescribing Link Worker or Health and Wellbeing Coach.
Both our Social Prescribing Link Worker and Health and Wellbeing Coach will take time to listen to what matters to you, and help you to link in with whatever available support is right for you right now.
Where to get NHS help for stress, anxiety or depression
If you need more support, you can get free talking therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) on the NHS.
